Blog to Read: Bearable Lightness of Being
I came across this blog today – “The Bearable Lightness of Being” by “Librarian on the Loose.” She’s chronicling her weight loss journey – Down to 200 from 225 and heading for 175! Her writing is heartfelt, sincere and so familiar. Take a look at two of her quotes:

Simply sticking to a rigorous food plan and tallying up the calories and the portions does not help me stop using food as a coping skill. Slowly, with therapy and OA, that is what I am working on and that is a much more complicated task.

I feel a tad guilty because I know I have to go about 3.8 miles an hour for my heart rate to get into the “weight loss zone” but on days like this I feel like winning the battle is simply that I got up and went to the damn gym.

Be sure to visit her site, it’s like a refreshing cup of lemonade on a hot August afternoon.
